We met in Napa, California. We’d both moved there for work in 2018 but didn’t cross paths until connecting on a dating app in 2020. Chris got us off that dating app quickly to met up at a local favorite—Compline Wine bar. He obviously understood Lisa because the hook was "wine and fries?" The date went well, and we went on a walk afterward, where Lisa got to meet miss Basil pug for the first time. Around the time of that walk, Napa was shutting down all it’s restaurants due to Covid-19. We got our first date in at a real restaurant while we still could–with maybe an hour to spare! We’d go to Compline each year on the anniversary of that date, until we moved to Florida, and now we go to The Strand (similar vibes–trust us). We had the wildest first few months of dating, but were really lucky to be surrounded with the highest quality of people and in a beautiful location. By late 2021, life brought us to Orlando, Florida, where together we've gotten to build out our careers, hobbies, relationship, and home.
